Once upon a time

I started this site with my best intention and then everything changed.

We never know what life may bring and how a lapse in judgement, a wrong turn,

or a plot fueled by envy or other human error can change lives so radically that all you

energy is spent just managing everyday necessities, waiting for a miracle.

Then one day you begin to have hope and courage to make stride toward a goal to keep

you going, save yourself from maddening thoughts, empowering yourself to become a

warrior to see justice done for all those people who are denied a voice. I am inspired by

a young girl of 16 who lived in a concentration camp in world war II. One day she was

given a small note a crumbled piece of paper that said:

“Perception is everything it can be Heaven or can be Hell its all up to you”.

She had the strength to survive and smile at the guards or give small piece of bread to a

dog. She smiled, holding a shiny piece of metal found in the dirt imagining it was the Star

of David to comfort herself. She got out when the war ended, married and had

children. She remained a joyful person through out her life, her children often thought

she was a little crazy. When she got older she did not mind when they asked her to see a

psychiatrist. She showed him the number branded on her arm while she was in the camp

and told him her story. In the end he told her she was fine and wrote a book called Super

joy where I learned her story as she had told him.

I often read Desiderata a beautiful poem, read it the end is precious:

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
